Personally have never had any issue with the channel. Why are there always problems with GB news channel. The recently revamped Sky Sports app will also become the ultimate home of sports streaming.

Sky Stream

Great – yes, I can now see that a number of different channels disappeared at the same time – including those you named.I’ve been doing a daily retune and they are now all back.Thanks for the solution It would make sense that Sky channels are on the same mux so if you’re having trouble connecting to that it would explain why all of the Sky freeview channels have knocked off. It might be worth continuing to retune every day or so because what you might find with Freeview is that weather and other conditions really affects groups of channels. Are you also missing channels including E4 Extra, Quest Red, u&Dave, Food Network? The Sky channels are definitely still available on Freeview. They would lose money if they did that.And actually, doing a little research, many channels that are in HD usually only broadcast the HD content.

It seems like a lot of broadcasters who have HD channels use a HD to SD version for the SD version, so it feels like a better version of SD than traditional SD. I certainly do feel more cozy at home with the Christmas music/movie channels on in the background, especially while bringing down the Christmas tree…… Roll on to the changeover the Christmas music channels on Sky too… Should change it to a “Sky Christmas” FAST channel, showing all Christmas content from the full range of channels from Sky. • Do find, CNN seem to do the remote quest and world live reports a lot better with rare issues.
• I tend to mostly watch BBC News but sometimes look at GB if I want a different perspective.
• Samsung TV, same issue with only the Sky News channel and it is still not fixed.

All channels fine on my Samsung tv except for sky news . Yesterday the sound stopped on sky news, I watch it on my Samsung tv through channel 4551. When I have issues with GBN on sky stream, funnily enough With the capability to show up to 100 live events via concurrent streams, fans will have more choice than ever before on what to watch, while the dedicated Sky Sports+ channel will showcase a selection of the best live sport. For example, watching Friends on Comedy Central SD, the quality https://prabhu365-nepal.com/ne/app/ seems to be on par with Comedy Central HD.So I don’t think removing HD channels in favour of Sky Stream is logical for Sky.

Just turned over to Sky News at 1701 and no pin required so I think @oldfella was spot on. Did this answer not help you? Any ideas how I remove Pin protection from this channel please? I am marking this as an answer for now until we have any update.

It would seem that it is not our individual systems at fault, but a Samsung/Sky News issue. I’ve just checked the Samsung TV+ stream of Sky News on my Samsung TV and it’s the same – no audio whatsoever. Sorry, you can’t reply to this discussion as it’s been locked by our Community Managers.
