Eggs Collection and Larvae

  • At Asmak Al Emarat, we meticulously collect eggs from our carefully selected broodstock, ensuring optimal quality.
  • Our larvae are cultivated in a carefully simulated environment, using the “Green Water Technique” to promote healthy growth.
  • We enhance the larvae’s habitat by adding live and frozen algae, creating a vibrant ecosystem for optimal development.
  • Feeding on a nutritious blend of live feeds, including Rotifer, Artemia, and copepods our larvae receive the essential nutrients needed for robust growth.

Weaning - Nursery

  • During the weaning phase, our fish transition to a diet of exclusively commercial fish feed, ensuring optimal nutrition for growth.
  • Feeding is conducted using both automatic feeders and hand feeding, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • To maintain uniformity, regular size sorting is performed, creating homogenous groups before they are transferred to the grow-out phase.
  • This stage lasts for four months, laying the foundation for their successful development.

Grow-out

  • During the growth phase, our fish receive premium feeds specifically designed for RAS, fostering a healthy environment that promotes optimal growth and overall well-being.
  • Regular size sorting is performed to ensure uniformity, allowing us to closely monitor the health and growth of our fish with precision.
  • The grow-out phase generally spans 10 to 12 months. Once the fish achieve the desired size, they are meticulously harvested and transferred to the packing unit, to be prepared for the market.
